Property Description
A country house hotel set in 35 acres of landscaped parkland. Owned by the Beale family since 1945 and now under the guidance of Andrew Beale (Managing Director), the third generation of the Beale Family at West Lodge Park. Bedrooms look over the gardens, which include the Beale arboretum containing over 600 different species of shrubs and trees. The history of the building dates back to around 1419 and the time of Henry 1V. The hotel restaurant boasts two AA rosettes for good food. As well as the Cedar Restaurant guests may choose from an extensive lounge menu offering brunch, cream teas and lighter dishes. The hotel has easy access to the main UK motorway network and offers an excellent choice of conference rooms. Log fires, chandeliers and antique furniture give the hotel a relaxed, country house ambience. The terrace bar is open to non-residents. The hotel offers weekend breaks and is an excellent base for visiting London and the Home Counties. The hotel offers 24 hour room service with the exception of Lodge rooms which have a Limited Hour Room Service.
