Washbourne Court Hotel is a truly magnificent part 17th century hotel located in four acres of private grounds. It stands by the River Eye in the centre of Lower Slaughter- one of the prettiest and most unspoilt villages in the Cotswold. Retaining it original charm and character the hotel offers modern luxuries which blend perfectly with traditional features including beamed ceilings and stone mullioned windows. There are 27 bedrooms providing flexible accommodation arrangements. Some of the original bedrooms in the main building date back 400 years while new rooms have been added in the Courtyard. In the grounds there are several delightful cottage suites with private lounges.

Directions

Leave Birmingham Airport and join the B4438 sign posted Coventry- Birmingham A45-Solihull. From the B4438 join the A45. From the A45 you will need to join the M42 signposted South West. At junction 3A branch left and follow signs to London to join the M40. At junction 15 leave the motorway and at roundabout take 4th exit A429 -signposted Cirencester. Stay on the A429 through to Morton in the Marsh and Stow on the Wold. At the -Roman Court Hotel- turn left and follow road. Junction for The Slaughters is on the right which leads into the village centre. Start out of Bristol International Airport and follow signs -M5 North/M4- to join Bristol A38. Once on A38 follow road until the junction with A3029 signposted city centre. Follow the A3029 branch left -signposted Avonmouth- to join A4. At the portway Roundabout take 2nd exit -signposted M5 the southwest- to join motorway M5 spur. At junction 18 take right hand lane to join main motorway. At junction 11a leave motorway -signposted Cirencester- and keep in right hand lane. At roundabout take 1st exit to join A417. At roundabout forward A436 -signposted Stow on the Wold- this joins the A429. Approximately 0.5 miles after the turning to Bourton on the Water- turn left into the Slaughters.
