Property Description

New Park Manor Hotel is one of the few hotels located in the heart of the New Forest. With an intriguing history centred on King Charles II and his love for hunting- experience a truly wonderful blend of old and new. In recent years- the Manor was carefully adapted for use as a hotel but retains many interesting features including Oak leaves in the intricate stained glass windows; original furniture and working fireplaces can still be seen throughout the building. Indeed King Charles Royal Coat of Arms is displayed prominently above the fireplace in our award-wining restaurant -Stags-. Over recent years- our facilities have expanded to include an all-weather tennis court- heated outdoor pool- croquet lawn and equestrian centre. We are also pleased to introduce our Bath House Spa due to open in September of this year. The spa takes von Essens successful -Bath House- experience- developed in Baths Royal Crescent Hotel- and gives it a more rural interpretation - rough hewn Douglas Fir- slabs of riven stone- water smoothed pebbles and mighty English Oak combine with natural light to great effect. Its the perfect hi-touch environment in which to take refuge from todays frantic hi-tech world. Savour the feeling of total relaxation over a light meal and thirst quenching drink in the juice bar whilst enjoying panoramic views across the paddocks and encircling forest. The spa also has its own private garden with Canadian hot tub - where better to watch the roaming horses and deer- to chat with friends in complete tranquility- or to celebrate in style with someone special.

Room Information

Classic :  These are standard double rooms. Apart from the 'Duchess of Norfolk Room' they are all located on the top floor in the attic of the manor house and have sloped ceilings. In days past, these were the original rooms used by the servants to King Charles II. Although on the smaller side the rooms are cozy for a couple and have lots of charm. All the classic rooms are decorated individually in a true English country style. All except the 'Mary Davis Room' contain baths with a hand held shower, enabling you to relax completely. No rollaways allowed. Sleeps 2. Manor :  The Manor rooms are also located in the original section of the hotel. Mainly, with the exception of 'Duchess of Tyrconnel Room; they are situated on the first floor. Overall these rooms are more spacious with larger windows looking out to the gardens. The Manor rooms are also decorated in the same English country style. Most of these are a double style but we have one twin bedded room available on request. The Manor rooms also contain a bath with a hand held shower. No rollaways allowed. Sleeps 2. Forest :  Just recently refurbished the Forest rooms echo the contemporary/classic theme throughout the whole forest wing. Each room is individually decorated in a contemporary/classic style, reflecting the tranquility that modern day life can offer. There is a choice of either double or twin rooms available. The bathrooms are fitted with a combined bath and stand up shower. All the Forest rooms are equipped with an LCD television in the bathroom. All of our Forest rooms are non-smoking rooms. 1 rollaway allowed. Sleeps 2. Four-Poster Suite :  The 'Nell Gwyn Suite' and 'Catherine of Braganza Suite' are our highest level of accommodation. Situated in the Manor House each of course contains a four-poster bed. These are also decorated in the traditional English style. Alternatively our 'Barbara Villiers Room' is another way to spoil yourselves with a lounge area in which to relax or some extra room for the children. 2 rollaways allowed. Sleeps 2.

Leave M27 at junction 1 and follow signs for Lyndhurst (A337). Follow the one way system through Lyndhurst and stay on the A337 by following the signs for Brockenhurst/Lymington. Midway between Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst the sign and private drive to New Park Manor will be seen on the right hand side of the road. FROM -BOH- BOURNEMOUTH AIRPORT IT IS 18.00 MILES NE TO THE PROPERTY. Driving Directions from The Secondary Airport to the Property: Join A35 towards Christchurch and Lyndhurst, proceed north on A35 into Lyndhurst and follow the one way system through Lyndhurst and join the A337 by following signs for Brockenhurst/Lymington. Midway between Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst the sign and private drive to New Park Manor will be seen on the right hand side of the road.
